Client FAQs
As a client of First Choice Personnel Inc., who are my contacts within your company?
Clients have daily access to our team through their local FCP branch. Each branch ensures that every order is filled and that client’s needs are met with the highest possible standards. Our executive staff is involved with each branch to maintain overall client satisfaction. If any problems arise, they may be addressed with any level of our organization.
How are applicants screened for open positions?
At FCP, we implement various screening methods to ensure that our clients receive the right employees. Our process includes personal interviews, background checks, E-verify employment eligibility, skills testing, reference screenings, and drug testing.
Does First Choice Personnel use E-Verify
Yes. For many years, we have participated in the E-verify program. Created by a partnership of the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration, E-verify helps minimize the possibility of mistakenly employing an individual without legal rights to work in the United States. Our FCP Representatives are specially trained in the E-verify program, and all candidates are processed through the system.
What are First Choice Personnel’s hiring requirements?
We require our applicants be at least 18 years old, eligible to work in the U.S. with provided documentation, and drug free. While it is not possible to place everyone who fills out a FCP application, our goal is to place qualified employees within the right position and company by thoroughly evaluating each applicant.
How are new employees prepared for employment at client companies?
Client specific orientations are conducted with every employee prior to their first day of work. This ensures that they understand what is expected of them, and are prepared for work.
How do you promote safety with employees at client companies?
We believe that the safety of our employees begins with knowledge and preparation. That is why we include safety guidelines in each employee orientation. Our essential function reviews help us understand what each employee is physically capable of doing which ensures the proper placement with our clients. Occupational health nurses are on hand to provide care whether is it conservative treatment for minor accidents or case management for serious situations.
